Honk! We Will Pray for You – Off Ramp Outreach – a live cut

We sat at the off ramp of I-40 and Louisiana in Albuquerque New Mexico, worshipped Jesus and prayed for people who honked at us. We even were blessed to bless a homeless man who first thought we were there to make money from people passing by. When he found out we were freely giving away what we were freely given he was over joyed and shocked. True Love will lead you to do things that truly confound human understanding.

Let’s bless Andriy of Freeway in Ukraine

My good friend Andriy runs an amazing ministry, Freeway Kiev, in Ukraine. Katie and I were blessed greatly by Andriy while we were trying to adopt in #Ukraine. We are helping him and his ministry by selling probably the most delicious chocolate you’ll ever have. It’s directly from Ukraine! Reserve your’s now before it runs out!

Those fleeting moments

Finally got to posting, busy week this far.
Monday of this week I had to return my rental and pickup our 4Runner from the shop. I was shuttled over to the shop by one of the employees of the rental company.

We got to talking and just before he dropped me off I asked him if there was any pain in his body. He responded he didn’t have any. So I asked him if there was anything I could pray for him about. He searched and showed signs of not finding something so I started giving him ideas like health, family, finances, etc . . .

He then said he wanted to start a small business. I said well it just so happens I am a small business owner and I would love to Bless you in this.

So he got Blessed, I got Blessed and he was extremely thankful and encouraged.

Starting up conversations is the hardest part when talking to people.

Just remember it’s not about trying to convert someone to the way you believe. It’s always about the person with no strings attached. It’s about truly and genuinely being interested in the person because you truly Love them 😀

Here are a few one liners I use all the time that help break the ice but most importantly be you in all things. God didn’t make you to be someone else. He made you uniquely to encounter Him and this world in the way only you can. It’s beautiful. You’re beautiful!
So go break some ice . . .

“This might sound weird but I was wondering if you are experiencing any pain, physical or emotional?

“I just felt that you could use some encouragement. You mind if I send some your way?”

“What do you think of the weather?”

“What a day. How’s your’s going?

“This is a pretty long line. What do you think?”

“That’s a pretty cool tattoo, if you don’t mind me asking what does it mean?
Be encouraged, Be available, Be expecting. The Kingdom of God is at hand 😀

4Runner in the shop . . . again

In all things there’s an opportunity, but it’s not always obvious until your mindset changes.

Our 4Runner is in the shop again. This time for an oil leak in crank seal or something like that. Why? Two years ago we took our vehicle in to get an oil change at the dealership down the hill. Everything seemed good until my wife drove about a mile from the oil change and the engine seized. She was able to get the vehicle started and back to the dealership but to our surprise the dealership admitted they removed the old oil but never replaced it with the new oil.

She was told the engine should be fine once the new oil circulated around the engine.

Long story short, after driving over 1,500 miles out of town we had to take the 4Runner back to the dealership due to major engine noises. We agreed to have the engine rebuilt at their cost. Hindsight I should have had them put a new engine in but here we are now with leaking oil.

Again they agreed to fix the leak at no cost but stated this would be the last fix as the warranty on the rebuild was up.

Frustrated, and after many conversations with management we finally agreed.

So today I dropped the vehicle off but instead of moving in frustration and disappointment I looked for opportunity to bless and encourage.

I met three people during this transaction all were blessed and one received prayer for his health condition, his wife’s health condition and his wife’s family’s hereditary health condition. It was good.

So we are trusting that what ever the outcome of our vehicle our Father will provide what we need when we need it.

Don’t let the circumstances dictate your actions. Respond in Love.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not irritable and does not count up wrongdoing or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Be encouraged, Be available, Be expecting. The Kingdom of God is at hand!

Gotta love life in the Kingdom💥

Wow, what an afternoon 😃 Hung out with my youngest boy and friend Daniel and his boy at the skate park while waiting for Katie to return from the encounter weekend. Had the wonderful privilege of pouring out the Love of the Father to a bunch of young’ns. Encouraging, teaching, blessing and praying. Super fun!

Then treated my beautiful wife and youngest son to a lunch at El Pinto.

God put one of the bussers on my heart.

Shared with her what God revealed to me. I asked her if she figure skated or ice skated because that is part of what He revealed. Turns out she does. We talked a bit and lots of blessings and encouragement filled her up!

Gotta love life in the Kingdom💥

Finding her way

Last Saturday night at the New Life City conference a woman came late and sat down in front of me. She was highlighted to me by our Father by showing me a bunch of images in my mind. When that happens I start praying for the person and the place.
Skip forward to ministry time, I had to use the restroom which I typical don’t at this time. So I left. When I came back the ministry team was all at the front. I was about to jump in but saw the woman and stayed. Closed my eyes and waited for Father to show me what He wanted to say to her.
It was pretty rough what I saw but basically it was imprisonment.
I approached her and asked if she would mind if I shared something I felt God shared with me for her. She agreed.
It’s always amazing when you use the words of Holy Spirit because it hit home in the only way Holy Spirit knows how. Tears came to her eyes.
She then explained to me that she was drawn to this place. She was driving on Pan American going South and felt like she needed to turn West on this street, Venice. Then she felt like she needed to go to the building that read New Life City. She found a parking space by the side door on the westside of the building which was super amazing for her which will become clear soon. At this point she didn’t know it was a church until she entered the building.
I told her that she was here by no mistake and was led by God for a very specific reason. So I asked her if she needed any prayer for anything.
She explained to me that her leg was in great pain, level eight, due to complications that landed her in the hospital a couple times in the last few months. She couldn’t even touch it or move her foot without an immense amount of pain. So having a parking space right by the side door was a miracle. “She didn’t have to limp far,” she said.
Long story short, I prayed, pain dropped to a three.
Prayed again, dropped to zero!
She was in shock. I told her to touch it. No pain. I told her to walk around. No pain. She was speechless. I explained that her heavenly Father wants a deeper more intimate relationship with her and that it’s good to surround oneself with other brother and sisters that will help encourage her in this journey.
I love seeing our Father love the hell out of people . . . so much fun!
Please pray for this daughter of the King.
