We took a trip to the Valley of Death and spent our time playing at Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes and what fun! Nothing opens people up and brings connection and bonding like sledding down sand dunes surrounded by snow capped mountains in the middle of the Mojave Desert! It was a great time for us, our Ukrainian girls and our California family 😃

Day 10 we were greeted with evidence of a bear in our camp. Sadly we didn’t see one. This is our last full day in Yosemite Valley so we spent it hiking as a family. We also, met a baby tarantula and basked in the mist of Bridalveil Falls yet again!
