The snow has been great this year in New Mexico. So my good friend Adam wanted to celebrate his birthday in the beautiful Jemez Mountains snowshoeing. Turns out it was about 3-4ft of snow. It was quite the adventure!

After our California Redwood 🌲 adventure we headed East to Lassen Volcanic National Park where we arrived late and tired . . . but we didn’t waste any time. We kayaked Manzanita Lake and explored around Sulphur Works as we ventured deeper into the park.

A group of seven guys backpacked through the south east San Juan National Forest from Platoro Reservoir to Blue Lake Colorado. We hiked past Conejos Peak (rabbit peak), across Conejos River and through the small valley of the El Rita Azul (the blue ritual) creek. It was a four day trip including travel filled with grand vistas and every form of precipitation imaginable.
